MUA is a leader in regional efforts that ensure that the Bay Area continues to be on the cutting edge of pushing pro-immigrant rights policies.

In addition to halting the deportations and ensuring due process for all, MUA works in coalition with other organizations to respond to emerging issues in the immigrant community. Among these are a response to the current humanitarian crisis of mothers and children crossing the border form Central America and Mexico.
