Basebuilding

At MUA, our goal is to continue growing and strengthening our base of Latina and Indigenous immigrant women. Each year, we aim to reach new contacts through social media and in-person outreach. Members and staff conduct outreach in schools, community centers, parks, on the streets, and at Latino markets. Interested women are invited to an MUA orientation where they can learn about MUA's mission, services, and training programs. While integrating new contacts, we are also developing the leadership skills of our active membership, encouraging them to be the ones welcoming new members.
