Basebuilding

At MUA we have the goal of continuing to grow and strengthen our base of Latina and indigenous immigrant women. Each year we have set a goal to reach new contacts through social media and in-person outreach. Member and staff do outreach in schools, community centers, parks, on the streets and in Latino markets. Interested women are invited to an MUA orientation (cafecito) where they can learn about the mission, services and training that MUA offers. At the same time that we are integrating new contacts, we are growing the leadership of our active membership, inviting them to be the people welcoming new members.
