Legacy Donations

Help keep MUA strong for generations to come! You can designate MUA as an heir in your retirement account (IRA or 401k) or in your will. It is a legacy that you can leave to future women.    

Here is sample language that you can incorporate into your will: 

I grant __________ (a percentage or a specific amount) to Mujeres Unidas y Activas, with headquarters at 3543 18th St, Box 23, San Francisco CA 94110-1600, for general use in accordance with its mission to grow immigrant women's leadership. Tax ID: 20-2986926

It is also important to note that if you are 70.5 years old and have an IRA, you can make a gift to MUA directly from your IRA, usually tax-free. This gift is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution. Thank you for considering it.
