On May 20, a Summerhays district judge blocked the Biden Administration from ending Title 42. It has been more than two years since this racist policy was implemented and it continues to harm people seeking asylum, especially migrants. from Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. It is devastating that due to this inhumane policy, more than 10,250 people have been kidnapped, raped and faced other attacks of violence on the US-Mexico border. MUA joins the thousands of voices that denounce this decision. We continue to fight for a fair immigration system that prioritizes the safety of asylum seekers and welcomes them with dignity.
