This video shows how Mujeres Unidas y Activas, an immigrant women's organization in California, is transforming victims of violence into leaders and organizers for change, and how this process impacts the next generation. The video summarizes a research study done by a team from USF and UCSF about the impact of MUA's leadership development model. Today is #GivingTuesday, and this year our programs were full of energy! More than 1,350 immigrant women participated in meetings, training sessions, and support groups at our offices. Looking ahead, your support will help us: - Strengthen our Know Your Rights and community advocacy work. - Continue providing emotional and practical support to immigrant women facing uncertainty. - Launch a new relief fund for workers affected by the current crisis. Every donation made before December 31 will be matched, up to $35,000. Your gift counts double to bring financial relief, safety, and community power to immigrant women.
