My name is Maria, and I’m from Mexico. I have been coming to Mujeres Unidas y Activas for 8 years. I came to MUA because I was a victim of domestic violence. My two favorite things about MUA are the workshops and the general meetings. I have learned that I can do anything and that my decisions matter. For the future I wish to finish studying and to have a good job, I always want to work with MUA. I never plan on leaving MUA.
