MUA joins 100+ Orgs demanding Biden Admin end Title 42
On May 20th, District Judge Robert Summerhays; prevented the Biden Administration from ending Title 42. It has been more than two years since this racist policy was put in place and it continues to harm people seeking asylum, especially migrants from Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. It is devastating that due to this inhumane policy, more than 10,250 people have been kidnapped, raped, and faced other violence attacks on the US-Mexico border. MUA joins the thousands of voices denouncing this decision and we continue to fight for a just immigration system that prioritizes the safety of asylum seekers and welcomes them with dignity.
