Layla Cooper
Layla has focused her career on providing financial management services to community organizations. Layla arrives to MUA from the Common Counsel Foundation in Oakland, where she oversaw the finances of programs and fiscal sponsors. She was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where Layla lived for six years before moving to the United States with her family. Layla focused her education in media studies and social change at San Francisco State University. Layla is also a member of the Finance Committee for International Funders of Indigenous Peoples. In her free time, Layla is a musician and enjoys cooking in her free time
