Ahtziri is from Guadalajara, México. She migrated to the United States at the age of 12. Growing up in San Francisco’s Mission District, Ahtziri experienced firsthand what it feels to grow within a supportive community. She is an advocate for immigrants’ and workers’ rights and loves to volunteer in the community. In her free time, Ahtziri likes painting, walking all around San Francisco, and spending time at the public library. Ahtziri is currently going to school and working towards obtaining her Labor and Employment studies degree. She is excited to join MUA’s fundraising team as a Donor Relations Coordinator and learn more from the community.
