Hi, my name is Argelia Ramirez. I started working for MUA in April 2022. I was born in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, but I was brought to the United States when I was seven years old. I am an immigrant woman who with a lot of effort, dedication, sacrifices, and a little bit of luck was able to obtain a Master’s degree in Public Administration. I have worked in the private and public sectors with diverse populations, however, my passion lies in working with my community and continuing to learn from it. My goal is to empower our Latin community, therefore, I feel proud and excited to be the Grants and Contracts Manager for MUA.
