Partnerships
As a grassroots organization, we strive to bridge epistemic gaps by collaborating with different institutions and organizations at a local, state, and national level.
MUA works closely with San Francisco State University SFSU English Department implementing curricula and methodologies that advance communicative justice for our community and by training and supporting graduate students with their learning and training working in non-credit adult education. We also have a strong connection with the Partnerships for Research in Implementation Science for Equity UCSF PRISE Center, at University of California San Francisco, in carrying out participatory research related to health and data literacies. Furthermore, we work with Rework The Bay, a project of the San Francisco Foundation, that seeks to improve the working conditions and quality jobs for low-income working people in the Bay Area.
